FIDO has helped many dogs find new homes and works every day to help others find homes of their own.

Enjoy this quick slide show; homage to those who have adopted, to those involved in FIDO, and of course to the many wonderful dogs we’ve had the chance to work with.

Many dogs in shelters would be perfectly suitable for adoption and would avoid euthanasia with a small amount of basic obedience training.  FIDO offers that training and helps dogs get adopted.

FIDO, the Foundation for Invested Dog Ownership is a not for profit group of volunteer dog trainers and aids.  FIDO selects dogs from the shelter, provides basic obedience training, and works to find good, permanent homes for dogs.  Most dogs require only a small amount of training and quickly become a part of the family  FIDO works with dogs in the SCAPS shelter, an animal rescue and shelter facility in Spokane, Washington.  To adopt a dog or to learn more about the FIDO program, contact us today.
